The Downtown Farmers Market at San Pedro Square presented by Kaiser Permanente kicks off activities the first Friday of May. The market is open each Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. rain or shine, through the Friday before Thanksgiving (note: no market the Friday of Fourth of July week).
During the summer, SJDA fills the calendar with music and outdoor movies. The new Live&Local campaign shows just how much live music lives in downtown San Jose. Also, look for Starlight Cinemas co-produced by Cinequest in San Pedro Square, Post Street in the Historic District, and the SoFA District.

The Hawaiian Airlines / Kristi Yamaguchi Downtown Ice seasonal skating rink opens in November and continues into January in the Circle of Palms, in the heart of holiday activities in downtown San Jose. Skate, spin and twirl among a circular grove of palm trees.
