    This movie is showing in conjunction with the Silicon Valley Music and Taco Festival, a paid event starting at noon Saturday, Aug. 19, in St. James Park. Use promo code “SJDA” for 50 percent off tickets at www.svtacofest.com. Movie-related fun and games start at 7:30 p.m., when admission to the park is dropped. Chacho’s will serve up tacos until at least 8:30 p.m.

    This 2015 installment in the Star Wars story picks up three decades after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, when a new threat arises. The First Order attempts to rule the galaxy and only a ragtag group of heroes can stop them, along with the help of the Resistance.

    Pre-movie fun and games start at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26 in St. James Park. We want to see the best costumes in the galaxy – prizes to fan favorites. Come early to enjoy the The 501st Legion characters! Also, before the movie on the Fountain Stage: OPEN MIC NIGHT, hosted by Mighty Mike McGee. Try your hand at classic picnic games like cornhole and washers. El Diferente Loncheria food truck will be on hand until halfway through the movie.
