Tabard Theatre announces Cougars on the Loose, a night of comedy from the Cougar Comedy Collective, on Friday, September 2 at 8pm. This stand-up comedy show features mature, female comedians (and one man) who tell funny stories, witty one-liners and hilarious jokes about life, love and redemption.
The show will be available both to attend in-person and to livestream from home. For those unable to experience the show live, the high-quality multi-camera recording will also be available On-Demand for 30 days following the show. Single tickets are $20 for General Admission in advance, $25 at the door, and $35 for reserved Cabaret seating. Proof of vaccination is required for in-person patrons. Vaccine cards will be checked at the door. Masking is encouraged but not required.
The Cougar Comedy Collective features comedians “of a certain age” and gives them a platform to share their wit and experiences. Fresh off a string of multiple sold-out showcases, it’s starting to become clear that there has long been a need for this particular union of humorists. This is a show that celebrates the beauty and strength in women coming together– especially when it’s monthly in comedy clubs, theaters, and coming to a city near you.
