Future of Public Life in DTSJ

July 13 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Free

Downtown San José has experienced many cycles of focus for investment and resources, all while it continues to grow its residential capacity. Local parks like Guadalupe River Park, St. James, and Plaza de Cesar Chavez are on the receiving end of bold visions for urbanized public spaces, and yet many storefronts continue to sit vacant. What are the critical areas of focus for the sustainable and effective activation of streets and the public realm in Downtown San José? Join us for a lively conversation about what it will take to make Downtown a social destination, but also how these efforts can offer a positive future vision that elected officials, stakeholders, and the community can share and build collectively.
