The series kicks off with a Freestyle Dance Party on Friday, July 25 with Stevie B, Jaya, and Shannon. A host of local DJs, including Cutso, Chuy Gomez, and DJ Looney Toons, will join the fun. 🎧
Saturday, July 26, brings The Psychedelic Furs to the Plaza de César Chávez stage. Rooney opens the show. 🎸🎤
On Sunday, July 27, Nanakuli native and five-time Island Music Award winner FIA, a rising singer/songwriter originally from Hawai‘i, takes the stage. Joining him will be BigBodyCisco and Westafa, known as Western Conference, and ACARI, an emerging artist whose unique sound and emotionally charged performances are quickly making her a standout in the Pacific Islands music scene. 🌺

Nuestra Ofrenda, painted by Roberto Romo with help from Francisco Ramirez, is more than just a stunning mural - it’s a celebration of life. Located in San José’s SoFA District and unveiled November 1, 2021, the artwork honors the generosity of two young organ donors, Nancy Yahayra Gutierrez and Brandon Castellanos. Featuring symbolic lotería cards, a milagro heart, and a hovering hummingbird and marigold, it beautifully merges Latino culture with a powerful message about organ donation. Let’s remember that one donor can save many lives💛
This mural was created in collaboration with local artists and coordinated by our Street Life team, as part of their ongoing effort to bring meaningful public art to Downtown San Jose.
