Join us for an incredible evening celebrating the treasure-trove of music that is the songs of legendary 11-time Grammy-winner Linda Ronstadt. Vocalist Sony Holland’s powerful yet delicate voice brings the sound of Ronstadt to life on Tabard’s intimate cabaret stage, backed by her full band.
Experience Ronstadt’s songs from the decade in which she became a star, like “You’re No Good,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “I Can’t Help It If I Still Love You,” “Desperado,” and “Blue Bayou.” — and then journey on with the band to some of the star’s later reinventions of herself, including jazz standards and other musical forays.
Sony Holland began her musical career as a San Francisco street busker, singing for tourists at Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square, but eventually earned her way to appearances in some of the country’s top music venues from coast to coast, including the Blue Note in New York City, Herb Alpert’s Vibrato in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Jazz Center. Along with anchoring a three year residency at the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, Holland has worked internationally, singing with an array of jazz combos in Tokyo, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Don’t miss this night of music and memories as Tabard Theatre and Sony Holland bring you the songs of one of rock music’s most beloved artists.
