Five Muslim American women set out on a pilgrimage to Mecca. Noor, an Afghan American immigrant, carries a hidden burden. Her tech CEO daughter, Maryam, grapples with legal troubles. Noor’s nieces, the estranged sisters Sosan and Nadia, strive to heal their fractured bond. Meanwhile, Fatima, a Black Muslim convert, embarks on a quest to find her birth mother. Will this spiritual odyssey unite them, or will secrets, rivalries, and old wounds tear them apart?
PILGRIMAGE dares to spotlight Muslim women on stage, presenting them as multi-dimensional, imperfect, and deeply loving individuals.
