Plaza de Chess is a debut activation by The Plaza Conservancy in association with Silicon Valley Chess Community, Northern California’s largest, most vibrant and most social chess community. Their goal is to make chess fun, modern and exciting again.
The activation will accommodate 24 boards and 48 players at a time, and more than 100 players can participate over the course of four hours. Chairs, chess sets and timers will be provided, and on-site mentors will be on site to coach and answer questions.
