Join SVBC and CreaTV for a beginner-friendly guided bike ride from the beautiful Municipal Rose Garden to Downtown San Jose!
Celebrate Bike Month and Bike To Wherever Day (don’t forget to Pledge to Ride!) with a visit to San Jose’s Municipal Rose Garden, Nirvana Soul, and CreaTV‘s beautiful space in Open San José in DTSJ.
This short and slow guided ride will begin at the beautiful Municipal Rose Garden (whose roses should be in full swing in May!) before meandering along San Jose’s Better Bikeways West to East routes to enjoy some coffee/snacks from San Jose’s very own Nirvana Soul. After our quick pick-me-up, we will finish our ride with the short jaunt (.5 mile) to CreaTV‘s HQ Open San José, where we will be watching a screening of the cult classic Italian screenplay from 1948, “Bicycle Thieves”. After the movie, we will lead a guided ride back to the Rose Garden.
Make a whole day out of it! Grab sandwiches at Zanotto’s (just a couple blocks from the Rose Garden) and picnic in the garden amongst the roses prior to the ride. After the movie, grab some dinner or a drink at one of the many great spots in DTSJ!
