Into The Woods is basically about what we inherit through the stories we are told growing up. This Broadway musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales, following a quest by a childless baker and his wife to begin a family despite a curse placed on them by a witch. The main characters are taken from “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Jack and the Beanstalk”, “Rapunzel”, and “Cinderella”.

The musical won three major Tony Awards on Broadway and had a very successful Disney film adaptation which grossed over $213 million worldwide and received three Academy Award nominations.
