Lyric Theatre presents a new concept – a summer festival with 13 performances of 3 shows over a 3 weekend period from July 23 through Aug 7. In addition, our objective is to reflect the diverse community we serve by broadening our recruitment of cast and staff. Pirates of Penzance -Tender hearted pirates meet innocent maidens guarded by the Major-General. Hail Poetry! Gilbert & Sullivan’s most popular show which was also a successful Broadway show and movie.

Into the Woods – Stephen Sondheim does the Brothers Grimm. A Tony Award-winning show on Broadway, as well as a successful Disney movie.

Light Opera Around the World – Full concert of familiar light opera favorites and beautiful songs from our international cast’s home countries.
