Sophie’s Body is an alternative rock band formed in Boston, MA in 2022.  The band—which is made up of all California transplants, two of whom hail from the Bay— is led by Sophie McMinn, a vocalist and guitarist who studies at the Berklee College of Music. The band combines hard-hitting, catchy rock riffs with the harmonic knowledge of the band’s musical training. The release of their debut EP “Things I Want” this past July has prompted a West Coast tour for this upcoming August to help spread their sound.

With influences such as Deftones. Flyleaf, and Fiona Apple, fans of the 2000’s alternative sound are bound to become instant fans of Boston’s newest rock act.
