Jimmy Shin
Jimmy has been Mixing his musical and comedic talents all of his life. After graduating from California Western School of Law, Jimmy decided to take a more humorous path. While in Seattle, Jimmy won the honor of “Rookie Comedian of the Year” in the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2005 and was advised by Ron Reid (The Producer of the competition) to move to Los Angeles. Although urged by his parents to become a lawyer, Jimmy decided to take a leap of faith and pursue his dreams of becoming a comic in LA.
Aivy Cordova
Originally from Hayward, Aivy Cordova (it’s pronounced “Ivy”) began her stand-up career in San Francisco. After a 7-year hiatus to raise her son, she returned to the stage in 2016 and now performs regularly at venues throughout the Bay Area and HaHa Comedy Club in Los Angeles. She has trained at Bindlestiff Studio in San Francisco, where she was a member of sketch comedy team Granny Cart Gangstas from 2013 to 2015, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (Sunset) in Los Angeles.
Gary Robinson
Emmy Nominee Gary Robinson is an award-winning writer, director, producer, and editor whose clients have included CBS, Sony, Universal and Martin Scorsese. He recently premiered on-screen internationally on Showtime’s “Just Another Immigrant.” As a comedian, he is performing standup at the top clubs in the world, and some dive bars you wouldn’t be caught dead in.
Julian Nieto
Julian Nieto-demanded immediate recognition almost as soon as he pulled the mic from the stand. He stormed onto the scene with both quick wit and a style of comedy that’s true to who he is. He’s already performing at major clubs, including The World famous Comedy Store, but he’s also a regular at his hometown club, The Well Comedy Club in Bakersfield. He’s also hosting his very own open mic and cutting his teeth as a producer all around California. Make sure to watch Julian as an up and coming comedian as he is as funny as he is hungry.
Drea Meyers
Drea Meyers grew up in San Jose but she started comedy in Sacramento, where she quickly rose through the ranks and began performing in comedy clubs all over the West Coast at only two years in! Standing at 6’1, she captures the attention of the audience as soon as she takes the stage. She has worked with Margaret Cho, Chris Franjola, Darrell Hammond and even rapper E-40! She’s also a talented comedy producer with her shows being featured in the SF Chronicle and The Metro!
