Tony Lindsay and Friends
October 11 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
As lead singer for the legendary band Santana for 25 years, Lindsay has acquired a shelf full of Grammys, toured the world and recorded seven albums, including 1999’s Supernatural, which garnered eight 2000 Grammy Awards, breaking Michael Jackson’s record for the most wins in a single night. An accomplished songwriter, he has penned songs for Tevin Campbell, Johnny Gill, Shaniece and Diana Ross. In addition to performing onstage with Beyoncé and Tower of Power, Tony has also released six solo albums, and most recently was named Maze Honoring Frankie Beverly’s lead singer. His range is formidable and his tone is warm and inviting — Tony continues to prove he is one of the best in the business.
He is joined for this performance by respected trumpeter Erik Jekabsen, local jazz educator and drummer Jason Lewis, and a host of other talented friends. Celebrate this new chapter in Tony Lindsay’s career with us at the SJZ Break Room!
