This unique event highlights #DTSJ vibrant and diverse food scene. Attract new customers to your restaurant, offer diverse menu items, and get everyone talking about you on social media. Participation is free.

About Dine Downtown
Dine Downtown’s extensive marketing and advertising campaign includes
- posters throughout downtown
- print, radio and digital advertising
- a dedicated Dine Downtown web page on our website, reaching over 25K unique visitors
- social media and numerous email blasts and newsletters
- Bay Area foodie influencers targeted social media posts, reaching 400K+ people last year.
Last year Dine Downtown social media posts reached 558K people on Instagram driving more people to and creating awareness and buzz for downtown restaurants.

Dine Downtown for Full Service Restaurants
Full service restaurants can offer one or more of these specials:
Prix Fixe Menu
Traditional restaurant week option. Specially priced three-course meals, including appetizer, entrée and dessert (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity).
Chef Special
Showcase your chef’s creativity by offering a special dish for Dine Downtown that might not be on your regular menu.
Food & Drink Pairing
Small plates with a craft beer, an entrée with a specialty cocktail, dinner with a wine pairing. Create the pairing and we will promote it.
Dine Downtown for Cafes and Casual Eateries
Casual restaurants and food market vendors can participate in Restaurant Week by offering a Dine Downtown special between July 11-21. (Could be a discount, a free item with purchase, or buy one, get one free.)
Get Promoted in Contests & Giveaways
To further support our downtown businesses, SJDA will purchase $25 and $50 gift cards from featured restaurants at a buy one, get one rate. If you would like to participate and offer matching gift cards, please let us know when you complete the sign-up form.
