How to Participate
When you find Lucky the Leprechaun, take a selfie with him in front of the business, and submit your photo to be entered to win. There are two (2) ways to submit your photo, either on social media or the website using the submission form:
- Social media: post your photo on your page or story, tag @sj_downtown on Instagram or @sjdowntown on Facebook and include the hashtag #DTSJLucky. For every photo you post and tag on social media, you will receive two (2) entries for the giveaway.
- Website submission: simply upload the photo and complete the form below. For every photo, you will receive (1) entry.
If you participate in the Shamrock Run on March 16, post or upload a photo of your race bib and receive two (2) entries.
Entries are cumulative and participants are allowed to win up to two (2) times. You can post/upload multiple photos (one at a time) as long as they are taken at different participating businesses.
The more Luckys you find, the more gift cards you can win! Winners will be randomly drawn daily starting on Monday, March 11 and through St. Patrick’s Day. Prizes will include $25, $50 and $100 in gift cards to downtown businesses, and the participant with the most entries will win a #DTSJ Prize Package valued at $250.
Winners will be notified by email and/or DM based on the platform used to enter the promotion.

SJDA will be continuing our Lucky the Leprechaun Hunt this year from March 8-17. Join us for this fun and festive promotion to create excitement downtown and drive people into your business as they look for Lucky the Leprechaun in business storefronts.
Last year 80 businesses signed up. We received more than 200 participant submissions and 10 #DTSJLucky winners won $100 in downtown gift cards. We hope to have even more downtown businesses display Lucky this year!
