Nestled in the heart of downtown San Jose, beginning at Park Ave and Hwy 87, and circling Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park on May 3 from 11 am to 1 pm, this extraordinary parade is more than just a day of festivities – it’s a cultural experience that embraces the essence of the Cinco de Mayo celebrations across the nation, a time when families come together to celebrate community, to be entertained by a colorful parade with floats, schools, marching bands, local companies, government, first responders, health and wellness organizations, cars, bicycles, dancers, nonprofits, and lots of wonderful music.
