Pave the Way is an annual event where Juma’s supportive community comes together to raise essential funds for our program in the South Bay. This year’s event will celebrate the powerful impact of our work over the past 10+ years, highlighting the stories of more than 1,000 young people who have benefited from our programs. Attendees will enjoy delicious bites, signature cocktails, exciting games and prizes, and inspiring stories from current and former Juma young people.
About Juma Ventures:
At Juma, we strive to break the cycle of poverty for youth across America. Through our innovative social enterprise model, we mkae sure young people earn a paycheck, learn to manage their money, and gain essential skills like responsibility, teamwork, and workplace communication.
Each year, Juma serves 500 youth in four cities across the United States —San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, and Seattle. Since 1993, we’ve helped more than 10,000 young people earn $15.5 million in wages and save $6.4 million for their higher education.
Together, we can ensure that every young person has the chance to succeed, advance, and thrive.
