San Jose, CA — The San Jose Downtown Association (SJDA) is excited to announce its Annual Meeting for the Business Improvement District (BID) and Property-Based Improvement District (PBID), taking place on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Signia By Hilton, San Jose (170 S. Market St., San Jose, CA 95113). This highly anticipated event is a must-attend for those passionate about the continued revitalization of downtown San Jose.
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and networking, followed by the program at 8:45 a.m., where SJDA’s CEO Alex Stettinski will present an overview of the past year’s successes and the exciting future developments planned for downtown. Attendees will also hear financial updates, committee reports, and insights into SJDA’s key programs.
This year’s meeting will feature remarks from prominent local leaders, including San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, City Councilmember Omar Torres, and Assemblymember Matt Haney. These speakers will share their perspectives on the importance of downtown’s growth and its role as a vibrant hub for business and community activities. A light continental breakfast will be served.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the 2025-2027 Board of Directors election. Voting is open to members within the BID.
