That’s a wrap on Starlight Saturdays 2026!
This summer, St. James Park was the place to be on Saturday nights. From laughs with local comedians to favorite movies on the big screen, we filled the park with food, drinks, games, trivia, and plenty of summer-night fun.
Thank you to everyone who brought a blanket, grabbed a lawn chair, rounded up friends and family, and joined us under the stars. Whether you came for the movie, stayed for the laughs, challenged your friends at trivia, or simply enjoyed a night out downtown, you helped make Starlight Saturdays special.

Starlight Saturdays is free to the public thanks to our sponsors.
Absolutely! There will be fun family-friendly activities and games for the whole family to enjoy.
The event is held at the corner of the park on N. Third and E. St. James streets (across from the Corinthian Grand Ballroom).
Yes! There will be on-site food trucks and a beer garden.
Arrive at 6 p.m. for live entertainment, trivia, family-friendly activities, food trucks and beer garden. Movies begin at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.
Light Rail: Check VTA.org for nearby bus stops and schedules.
Parking: The closest garages are the Third Street Garage between Santa Clara and St. John streets and the Market & San Pedro Garage. There is also metered street parking surrounding the park that is free on weekends.
About Starlight Series
The San Jose Downtown Association has produced free outdoor summertime movies for more than two decades, and was among the first to precede screenings with games and activities. The intention of the program has always been to bring together community members of all ages to enjoy Downtown’s beautiful public spaces.

Five ParkSJ garages offer 90 minutes of free parking.
The garages closest to Starlight Cinema at St. James Park are the Third Street Garage between Santa Clara and St. John streets and the Market & San Pedro Garage.
